GermanWorks Summer Camp 2010

Thank you for your interest in the

GermanWorks Summer Day Camp. 

Over the summer of 2010 we will be offering intensive German language sessions during the following dates:


  1. ★Session 1:    Monday, July 5th through Friday, July 9th.

  2. ★Session 2:    Monday, July 12th through Friday, July 16th.


  4. ★A.M. Sessions:    9:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.

   These sessions will be targeted for children who are learning German as a foreign language. 

    Children 9 years of age and older, please register for Session 1.

   

            SESSION 1 AM IS CLOSED!

  1. ★P.M. Sessions:    1:00 P.M. until 4:30 P.M.

    These sessions will be targeted for children with a solid understanding of German.

  1. ★Tuition:           Session 1 - A.M.:  $140.00

  2.                         Session 1 - P.M.:  $140.00

  3.                         Session 2 - A.M.:  $140.00

  4.                         Session 2 - P.M.:  $140.00

Children learn best if information is meaningful to them.  New experiences are linked to information they have already learned and connections are formed.  Information is also learned in a number of ways and children all vary in their ability to utilize different modalities.  These two principles, will be the underlying premises as children are exposed to the German language and culture during the camp.  Their whole bodies will be engaged during activities involving listening, speaking, singing, drawing, writing, jumping, dancing, making crafts, preparing food, eating, and much more.  Weather permitting outdoor play will be incorporated daily.
